Christina Luna is a music executive and entrepreneur, who has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. A San Francisco native, Christina got her start working for multicultural event agency, Prime Image Media Group – managing entertainment for local festivals including Fiesta Filipina, Kababayan Fest, Chinese New Year Festival & Parade, Cherry Blossom Festival, the San Mateo County Fair.

After recognizing a need in representation, Christina founded her own company representing Asian American music artists such as AJ Rafael, Gabe Bondoc, Melissa Polinar, who gained popularity online in the early years of YouTube, and Ramiele Malubay, finalist from American Idol Season 7. Under her management she oversaw flagship artist AJ Rafael and the independent “Red Roses” album, which charted #13 on Billboard’s “Heatseeker” chart and iTunes Top 10 Pop albums in the United States, Australia, and Canada.

Building fanbases online and a network through Southeast Asia, Christina started consulting for the Philippine music industry. Through her work in consulting, artist management, and tour management – she has supported cross-over opportunities between Southeast Asia and the United States music industries.

Christina continues to prioritize projects and partners with similar visions for the global Asian music ecosystem. She is currently partner to global entertainment agency Zion Agency LLC, representing R&B artist Kiana V, and “The Queen of Freestyle,” Jocelyn Enriquez. Christina is a member of the Recording Academy San Francisco Chapter. She has been featured in several publications, has spoken at events and conferences in the United States and the Philippines; and is recognized as a part of the Global 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World.

Additionally, Christina is the Vice Chair of the City of Daly City Recreation Commission. She holds a Master of Science in Management from Notre Dame de Namur University, a Certificate in Social Enterprise and Impact Investing from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and is part of Backstage Capital’s current cohort of Catalyst investor apprentices.
